About

My path to becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor began over 30 years ago, answering calls on a hotline dedicated to helping people in crisis. A few years later, I started working in special education after one of my own children was diagnosed with Autism. That experience helped me to better understand my child, and I learned how to truly support neurodiverse kids and families, in the classroom and in their hearts. That led me to become a Licensed Professional School Counselor, where I focused on social-emotional learning and mental health. After the COVID-19 pandemic, I felt a deeper call to help individuals heal and grow. So, I opened my private practice to provide more intensive, personalized care for children, teens, and adults. I have completed advanced training in EMDR and play therapy. I also have advanced training in neurodiversity. I continue to refine my skills through regular consultation with other professionals, certified trainings, and professional association conferences and events. My areas of interest include Autism, ADHD, spirituality, neuropsychology, relationships, women's mental health, abuse recovery, divorce recovery, PTSD and CPTSD, religious trauma and recovery, and personal growth.

"Once we start working together, I will do all I can to make sure you have the support you need. You won’t go through this alone."
